Position 001457: Executive Director
POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, PEACEPRINTS PRISON MINISTRIES is looking for an Executive Director. The Executive Director is the leader of the administrative team reporting to the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director will have primary responsibility for initiating, maintaining and developing relationships with key stake holders including funders, donors, partners and volunteers.
In concert with key strategic relationship management duties, the Executive Director will lead the organization's overall annual development program and long term advancement efforts.
This position is also responsible for the general oversight of the organization including programming, financial, human resources and operational responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE
Significant experience with demonstrated results in business or not-for-profit management including significant accomplishments in sales/development, marketing, finance and operations
At least three years experience developing and managing staff and/or volunteers
Knowledge of New York State prison and parole systems, preferred
Use of advanced functions of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

Founded shortly after the uprising at Attica Correctional Facility, and dedicated to the memory of Sister Karen Klimczak's, Peaceprints™ Prison Ministries is a not-for-profit organization that works with individuals in prison and assists former offenders with transitioning back to the community.
The 503c organization provides support and assistance to the families of those in prison and is dedicated to assisting men and women in changing behaviors, establishing new beginnings and changing lives. Peaceprints delivers a comprehensive continuum of services for individuals in prison, former offenders, and their families including:
